Safety inspection cost $200 due to upselling. 4 mos later my 4Runner wouldn't start. Mobile mechanic found relay fuse missing. Only possible explanation= it was removed from covered fuse box. He had told me he wanted to check my AC filter but my glove box wouldn't open. Today he said they do not check that with safety inspections, But he was upselling me so they were checking for things to charge me for. He argued back on phone today rather than de-escalating my complaint. I called for a different small repair but should have followed initial instinct Da Guy Not Trustworthy $$$ Local Community Kailua Brah! I paid $750 for mobile repair guy to finally figure out it was only a fuse why 4Runner wouldn't start. Corey is the best! He has kept my car running great, he replaced my rear struts and has done other maintenance always making sure the costs aren't too crazy for me. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I had a great experience with Corey. Had to get my vehicle registered in Hawaii, including needing a safety inspection, and Corey was responsive and made the process a breeze. Thanks!

Excellent small local shop. Owner will do his best to work you in short notice, has very fair prices, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys working on cars to help people. No upselling on parts or labor in anyway from experiences so far.

Expensive, and Corey is rude. I needed the starter in my car changed. He wanted almost $500 for it. The dealer was charging $200 less! The dealer is never supposed to be the cheaper option! He's done my safety a couple times, and he's failed me for the smallest things, so don't bother going to him for a safety if anything at all is wrong with your car. His customer service also sucks. I always get an attitude from him, like I'm just a huge inconvenience to his day. I've tried to make small talk and he shrugs me off. He doesn't even try to be friendly. Go elsewhere for you car needs.
